Greenwashing
Course content
This online course on greenwashing introduces employees to the principles of credible environmental communication and helps companies prevent risks associated with misleading or unsubstantiated “green” claims. It is suitable both for employee training in connection with the requirements of Directive (EU) 2024/825 and for a practical introduction to greenwashing.
The course clearly explains what greenwashing is, which rules apply to environmental claims, and which claims may be risky or explicitly prohibited. It is based on the current legislative framework, particularly Directives 2005/29/EC and (EU) 2024/825, Czech Act No. 634/1992 Coll., on Consumer Protection, and the Czech Civil Code.
Participants will also learn about the reputational, financial and commercial impacts of greenwashing and receive practical guidance on formulating environmental claims that are specific, clear and substantiated. The course also covers other principles of credible sustainability communication.
The course combines carefully structured learning content with interactive elements and access to current legislation.
